Almud Reef offers a diverse dive experience with large sandy patches where rays and angel sharks can be spotted. The reef features a volcanic rock plateau, rising about 1.5 meters from the sand, with overhangs that shelter moray eels, Canarian lobsters, and occasionally large porcupine pufferfish.

At Almud Reef, divers will explore a rich underwater environment with a volcanic rock plateau full of holes and cracks, providing sanctuary for a variety of small marine life. The site includes a small wreck, “Armando Theodoro,” which enhances the reef and shelters rays and file fish. Depending on current and air supply, divers may continue eastward from the wreck to discover fascinating pinnacles and smooth overhangs formed by ancient lava flows.
