Arguineguín reef is named after the village nearby. The length of the reef is around 700 meters and it contains a lot of overhangs providing shelter for stingrays, moray eels and sometimes even for the large puffer fish, as well as some colourful anemones and cleaner shrimps. There is also a large shoal of roncadors and in the sandy areas we sometimes encounter angel sharks being looked at by octopuses and cuttlefish.
