Seahorses, amberjacks, angel sharks, stingrays, spiny butterfly rays, African striped grunts, bastard grunts, blue jack mackerels, striped seabreams, garden eels and giant anemones, among others, are to be seen here. The wealth of marine life make Sardinas del Norte one of the most popular diving spots on the island.

Sardinas has a large sheltered bay and is thus ideally suited for beginners, underwater photography lovers or those keen on night dives. Getting in and out of the water is extremely easy: you just go down or up the some steps.
