Blue Bird Wreck

The Bluebird wreck was sunk in 2002 outside Puerto Mogan. It’s presence in the sandy bottom attracts the local fauna, gruntfish, barracudas, rays and white trevallys. Sometimes, turtles as well!

On the sandy bottom at 45m depth there are no reefs near by so all the marine life is around the wreck, and Garden Eeels all around. The Blue bird is only 30 meters in length, but due to the depth this is never a problem , There are always large schools of Roncadors, Barracudas, Rays, Amberjacks, Angel Sharks, and a conger hidding inside. In the summer also some turtles has been seen and hammerhead sharks as well.

At 45 meters, only those who are more experienced with a minimum of 100 dives can dive here.
